On July 17th and 20th, 2020, Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (UAMD) partners organized several pilot courses with master students belonging to the Applied Computer Science program. Representatives of the ITG4AU project in this university have been in charge of dictating this course. Furthermore, on July 1st, UAMD partners organized a meeting with academic staff of Computer Science Department and administrative staff of Financial & Legal Office.
Senada Bushati and Fatjona Bushi presented the main aspects of IT governance. They included a state of the art of the ITG4AU project as an initial presentation. After that, they explained the difference between IT governance and IT management, the importance of IT governance, and gave a special section about the stakholders involved in the IT governance process. They included some corporate governance and managerial aspects regarding their organization. Their materials used in the courses can be found in the Deliverables section.
IT Governance for Albanian Universities
This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Albania. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Albanian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Albania.
