UIB leads the Steering Committee as Project Manager and Project Coordinator. UIB appoints a dedicated project manager, who coordinates the aforementioned activities, communicates with project partners and the coordinator and makes sure that the project objectives are met within time and budget.
As Project Manager assumes the role of Supervisor of training materials, and also is the Governance framework assessment leader, as well as, leads WP5 Management of the project.
UALUniversity of Almería, Andalucía, Spain
UAL as a partner has experience in IT Governance frameworks design, deployment and assessment and with a wide experience in deployment of such frameworks in HEIs settings. Furthermore, UAL has experience in the development of training materials for IT Governance within universities.
UAL will lead Preparation WP and contribute in the development, assessment and deployment of the framework along with the other activities to support this development.
SHRSRH Hochschule Berlin, Germany
SRH as a partner has experience in IT Governance frameworks design, deployment and assessment. Furthermore, SRH has experience in the development of training materials for IT Governance within its wide international partner network which currently encompasses more than 50 universities worldwide, as well as proven competence in dissemination of projects, acquisition and successful completion of EU projects.
Within this project will assume the role of Supervisor-Developer of training materials, and will also be the Governance framework monitoring efforts leader.
OUCØstfold University College, Halden, Norway
OUC presents specific curriculum for IT Governance Frameworks. More precisely, the course “Advanced topics in Information Systems” includes a specific lesson on IT Governance Frameworks. OUC will participate and supervise the development of the new materials, perform “train of the trainers” courses and host visits for Albanian teaching staff, contribute to the dissemination of the initiative and taking into account, Prof. Colomo-Palacios experience in Erasmus+ programmes, will lead Quality Management package.
UPTPolytechnic University of Tirana, Tirana, Albania
The UPT will provide the necessary input needed for success in terms of human resources (staff qualification and experience, students' involvement, networking with third parties if needed) and physical resources (data, legislation, etc.).
This institution is willing to collaborate with all the partners of this project and beyond in order to increase the awareness regarding the positive influence of IT Governance for HEI, by training, building connections, informing, providing reports, implementing new models in their environment and measuring the results. These results will be published through workshops and publications they plan to attain. PUT will engage with all of its potential (staff and the students) to cooperate and help for achieving project goals at its highest levels.
Staff training will result to qualified staff and relevant knowledge to be transferred to its colleagues in order to optimize its future work in it Institution through well-organized IT. PUT's good example will be a role model for other HEI which can implement and leverage IT Governance for better managing of its resources and higher performance.
UAMDAleksander Moisiu University of Durrës, Durrës, Albania
As a partner to this project UAMD will be responsible of offering the means, the experience and the data necessary to provide a better view of obstacles our institutions have in adapting IT governance. The institution will implement models and will conduct reports. Building a strong relationship between academic staff, students and organizations regarding to this subject will help our institution identify better in the future the role and the impact IT can have.
Two of the most important programs UAMD offers are: Information Systems and Information Technology. The main purpose of this two is to contribute to the effective and intelligent use of IT in organizations and indirectly affecting for better the community. Through workshops, trainings, mobility, that the staff will receive, Faculty hopes to move to higher and different level of knowledge and experience about this topic that will be reflected in advanced curricula’s and qualified staff. Developing and monitoring a research center in the institution for IT governance will be our final target.
EUTEuropean University of Tirana, Tirana, Albania
The role of the European University of Tirana is to develop competence in IT Governance for Universities and edit best practices reports on the topic. It will also perform best practice visits and write a report on these best practices. EUT will have to develop and deploy an IT Governance framework for the university and materials for further education on the topic in two languages (English & Albanian). Besides, it will receive train of the trainers training and will perform broad dissemination. It will also conduct pilot trainings on the topic. Finally it will monitor IT Governance Framework and will develop IT Governance as a research area in the institution.
UTUniversity of Tirana, Tirana, Albania
University of Tirana (UT) is the biggest and oldest public University in Albania. IT exists to support and empower the mission of the UT, facilitating an environment for teaching, research, and learning activity. UT will drive IT strategies and initiatives. UT will provide a responsive environment that serves the needs and expectations of students, faculty, and staff. UT will design IT service activities first to improve the experience of faculties and students and secondarily to help staff in their administrative activities. IT services will provide information management services to meet the needs of university and its leadership. UT will ensure collaborative design of services and infrastructure.
UT will manage data as an institutional resource. Specifically, institutional data will be identified and defined. UT will protect the data resource. Data will be shared based on institutional policies, and laws. UT will actively manage information quality. Contingency plans will be developed and implemented. Access to data will be authorized and managed.
UT will work with IT staff to develop initiatives to keep staff skills contemporary. IT staff will be encouraged to continually gain knowledge and to gather intelligence through independent research, professional development opportunities, information sharing and interaction with end-users.
